4 reasons our students score 'As' and 'A*s' in Composition and Comprehension

1. Students are coached to take exams confidently alone

Students take exams on their own, so it makes sense to coach students to confidently take exams on their own. We found a method to do so: Our Email Courses. Students are slowly coached to take the exams confidently on their own by reading the lessons and doing the assignments on their own (no guidance is needed from parents). Our teachers are there to mark students' work to ensure students' are on the right track and to give suggestions for improvement.

Students are already doing some things on their own, when they read their textbooks and do their school homework on their own. Our email courses go BEYOND this. (If students are not reading their textbooks and doing their school homework on their own, our courses will slowly give students the confidence to do so.) Our teachers coach our students to excel at learning the lessons and doing the assignments on their own. Our teachers also develop students' writing talents and abilities. So that at the end of the courses, students can confidently enter an exam hall, knowing they have the skills and abilities to score in Composition and Comprehension.

2. Students gain strong foundations in the subjects

Many students do not score because they are weak in one or more areas of the subjects. Not knowing they are weak in these areas, students continue to make the same mistakes again and again. Our courses are designed to provide a complete, step-by-step way to master the subject. Each lesson builds from the knowledge gained in the previous lesson. So that at the end of the courses, students would have built strong foundations in the subjects.

3. Students are guided to improve with each exercise by themselves

We do this in three ways:

1. Students are trained to look for the correct answers. In Comprehension, students are taught how to spot the answers in comprehension passages by understanding how sentences are put together. When students understand how sentences are put together, they know where to find the answers even in complex sentences.

2. Students are trained to find the correct answers, when they answer incorrectly. This builds students' trust in their own reading and understanding abilities, and boosts students' confidence in themselves.

3. Students are trained to correct grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors. Students lose valuable marks when they make these errors. When students identify and correct their own errors they are unlikely to make the same errors again.

4. Students reading/comprehension/writing and grammar abilities are brought up to exam standard and beyond.

As the courses are specially-designed to match the reading requirements of each Primary, Secondary and 'A' Level, students gradually build up their reading/comprehension/writing and grammar abilities to match and even exceed these requirements. For weak students, other reading is encouraged to improve in the language as well.

Students learn from our specially-designed easy-to-learn, step-by-step courses created by our team of experts, led by our master teacher, Mr Raja.

All our courses follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Education's syllabuses.

With the combined methods we are confident that your child will score higher marks. In fact, we guarantee it or we'll refund the full fees.
