Composition Writing Contest for Primary 1 to Primary 6

Eligibility Requirements:

·                     The MySchoolSuccess.Com Composition Writing Contest is open to all students from Primary 1 to Primary 6 in Singapore Primary schools in the year 2010 (including our students, past and present)

·                     The following are the three categories in the contest:

a. Category 1:  P1 and P2 (maximum no. of words in each composition: 120)

b. Category 2:  P3 and P4 (maximum no. of words in each composition: 150)

c. Category 3:  P5 and P6 (maximum no. of words in each composition: 300)

·                     All contestants are eligible to write for their own categories only and only compositions written within the maximum no. of words will be accepted in each category. Compositions over the maximum no. of words in each category will be disqualified.

·                     Compositions can be on any topic, and it is up to the judges discretion to disqualify topics that they deem unsuitable.

·                     Compositions submitted can be entries to other composition writing contests where the compositions did not win any prizes. However, we will not accept compositions that have won prizes. Such submissions will be immediately disqualified.

·                     Students can submit as many compositions as they like but each composition must be in a separate application form which can be copied from the webpage and saved as a word document

·                     All submissions without the application form will be disqualified

·                     All information required in the application form must be completed or the application will be disqualified

·                     Prizes: All prizes come in the form of book vouchers as our aim is to encourage the love for reading

·                     Only submissions of compositions sent to us by email to compo@trilifecom.com will be accepted.

·                     The deadline for submission of compositions is at midnight 30 April 2010

·                     There will be three prizes for each category:

 

P1 and P2 – First Prize $100/- book voucher

-          2nd Prize $75 book voucher

-          3rd Prize $50 book voucher

     

      P3 and P4 – First Prize $200/- book voucher

-          2nd Prize $150/- book voucher

-          -3rd Prize $100 book voucher

 

P5 and P6 – First Prize $300 book voucher

-          2nd Prize $200 book voucher

-          3rd Prize $150 book voucher

 

·                     The judgments by our judges will be final and no correspondence or phone calls on the subject will be entertained

·                     An announcement that the winners have been declared will appear on our webpage http://www.myschoolsuccess.com on 20 April 2010

·                     Winning entries for all three categories will be published on the same website.
